Pedalkraften omvandlas till motorkraft med hj\u00e4lp av en vridmomentavk\u00e4nnande PAS. Motorns effekt motsvarar ungef\u00e4r 2 watt per watt pedalkraft. Men en h\u00f6gre niv\u00e5 av trampst\u00f6d f\u00f6rbrukar ocks\u00e5 mer batteriladdning, vilket minskar den str\u00e4cka du kan k\u00f6ra mellan laddningscyklerna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det finns tre niv\u00e5er av trampst\u00f6d p\u00e5 en elcykel. Ju h\u00f6gre assistans, desto mer energi anv\u00e4nder motorn. Ju l\u00e4gre assistans, desto mindre energi kommer batteriet att anv\u00e4nda, vilket \u00e4r viktigt om du vill spara p\u00e5 batteriet. Sensorn fungerar genom att m\u00e4ta pedalens rotationshastighet och pulserar n\u00e4r en cyklist trampar fram\u00e5t eller bak\u00e5t. Den reagerar genom att variera m\u00e4ngden pedalassistans och justera kraften i enlighet med detta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De flesta nyckelf\u00e4rdiga elcyklar har inst\u00e4llningen PAS-assistans. Detta \u00e4r som en gaspedalinst\u00e4llning och l\u00e5ter dig kontrollera hur mycket kraft din motor ger dig. Med andra ord, om du vill ha 50% assistans kommer din motor att k\u00f6ras med halva effekten medan du trampar. Ett tyngre batteri kan begr\u00e4nsa din hastighet och kan ocks\u00e5 begr\u00e4nsa den str\u00e4cka som du kan k\u00f6ra p\u00e5 cykeln. Batterivikten st\u00e5r f\u00f6r cirka 30% av en elcykels vikt. Korrekt hantering bidrar till att batteriet f\u00e5r en l\u00e5ng livsl\u00e4ngd.
